Operated by Community Health Center, the site is located at Lord & Taylor parking lot at 110 High Ridge Road in Stamford.

Although the site is a drive-thru, you still need an appointment to receive a shot. To register, those eligible can call 211, or 877-918-2224. Or use the VAMS online portal operated by the state Department of Health to make an appointment online.

If you schedule through 211, you will schedule your second dose appointment at the same time you schedule your first dose. If you schedule through VAMS, you should return to VAMS to schedule your second dose.

Once you have an appointment all you have to do is drive up and roll up your sleeve, pretty easy.

The site is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4. p.m.

Those currently eligible to receive the vaccine at the site include:

  • Individuals 75 years of age and older (now scheduling)
  • Individuals between the ages of 65 and 74 (scheduling soon)
  • Front line essential workers (scheduling soon)
  • Individuals with an underlying medical condition with increased risk for severe illness. (scheduling soon)
  • Individuals in congregate settings

The center hopes to provide at least 1,000 vaccines a day when first open but says the number depends on the amount of vaccine they receive.

The center is also looking for volunteer vaccinators. For more information, please contact COVIDvaccinators@chc1.com.
